Terms and Conditions
BEFORE YOUR TOUR:
PRICES are quoted ‘per person’ unless otherwise stated and are GST inclusive.
TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING a non-refundable deposit payment of 20% of the total tour cost together with an email confirmation is required within 5 days of your confirmed reservation. If the deposit and booking form are not received within this time your reservation may be cancelled.
ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them is acknowledged by your payment of the deposit payment. By accepting the confirmation email you acknowledge and agree that all other guests travelling under your name have been informed of these conditions of travel and that you are liable for all payments and fees for the entire travelling party.
FINAL PAYMENT is due 5 days prior to departure, or before departure for bookings made within 5 days of the departure date.
NO LIABILITY for loss or damages caused by cancellation, delays, injury, illness or loss of property is accepted by Stanthorpe Tours. Taking out travel insurance at the date of booking is highly recommended.
DATE CHANGES for secured bookings will be accommodated where possible. Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours will endeavour to facilitate one date change free of charge.
CANCELLATIONS must be made in writing and will incur the following fees (note that these fees will be waived if Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours is able to re-book the cancelled tour):
Time of Cancellation - Fee
More than 30 days before tour date - 100% of deposit
Between 30 days and 14 days before tour date - 75% of total cost
Within 14 days of departure - 100% of total cost
PAYMENTS can be made by EFT, or Credit card via the phone.
ON YOUR TOUR:
TOURS WILL DEPART according to the time stated in the Confirmation email. Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours accepts no liability for passengers failing to be at designated pick up locations by the scheduled departure time; no refund is provided for passengers who miss the tour.
INTOXICATION AND OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOUR by patrons will lead to eviction from the tour without refund. Patrons acknowledge that Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of the patron’s actions.
ALTERATIONS to an itinerary may be made where required (at our discretion). This includes the right to use alternate vehicles and operators.
SMOKING is not permitted in vehicles or inside buildings.
PROOF OF AGE is required for the consumption of alcohol both in vehicles and at venues.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS menus can be requested to accommodate dietary requests. Please advise any special dietary requirements when booking your tour. Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours cannot guarantee that dietary requests will always be met.
WAIVER & RELEASE:
YOU AGREE & ACKNOWLEDGE that, to the extent permitted by law:
• Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by you or by any other person, arising from or in connection with your participation in the tour, whether such injury, loss or damage was caused directly or indirectly by the negligence of Stanthorpe Tours or otherwise, or by Stanthorpe Tours’ servants, agents, employees or contractors. You hereby release Stanthorpe Tours from all such claims, and indemnify Stanthorpe Tours against all claims made by or on behalf of any other person; and
• You indemnify Filippos/Stanthorpe Tours against any loss, expense or damage of any nature, suffered or incurred by them regarding physical loss of, or damage to, their property or any other property or personal injury, disease, illness or death, in connection with the tour or your obligations under these terms.
OUR WEBSITE includes a photo gallery and message board. Content posted online is available for the public to access. By posting a message on our site or adding photos to our photo gallery, you understand it becomes public domain and therefore may be used by Stanthorpe Tours for marketing purposes without any compensation being paid to you.
